Posted: 20/1/2016

Belfast City Council has granted planning permission for two more city centre hotel developments, bringing to six the number of such applications approved by the council in the last nine months.

A 179-bedroom new build hotel in Hope Street, the 46-room extension of the Ten Square Hotel just behind Belfast City Hall and the 4 other hotels recently granted planning permission will provide visitors much more choice.

The other hotels to have been granted planning permission are at the former Harland and Wolff headquarters building in Titanic Quarter, the Grand Central in the former Windsor House in Bedford Street, the former Belfast Metropolitan College campus in Brunswick Street, and the conversion of a former office complex in Victoria Street.

These represent a total of almost 700 new bedrooms.

Why wait, book your weekend getaway to Belfast now!
